Sales Associate

Job Summary

The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering an outstanding guest experience to all customers and using appropriate sales techniques and product knowledge to reach the sales targets. In addition, the Sales Associate is responsible for stock replenishment, promotion of products and new launches along with cash handling.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

Achieve the sales targets by using advanced sales techniques, product knowledge, and identifying up-selling opportunities

Build and maintain guest experience standards in order to build strong loyalty and relationships

Communicate with customers to assess and satisfy their needs, and exceed expectations

Maintain high standards of Visual Merchandising housekeeping in terms of cleanliness, display and stock rotation

Implement all merchandising as per the brands merchandising guidelines

Clean, prepare stock in hand, participate in inventories as and when required

Demonstrate a passion and understanding of retail across markets, channels and brands through the discovery and development of insights

Demonstrate an understanding of best business practices on a daily basis

Qualifications & Desired Skills

A minimum of 2 years’ experience in retail

Highly creative, with ability to think out of the box

Experience in identifying target audiences and devising strategies that engage customers

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent relationship building skills and outstanding customer service
